I took my car to the Driver Repair off of SH242 in April 2013 b/c I had received coupons for an oil change & for my state inspection. I was told that my car had failed the inspection due to leaking power steering fluid. He advised me that I had to pay for the inspection but had 15 days to fix the problem. I agreed to pay & said I'd think about it, planning to take it somewhere else for... Read more

Driver's Auto failed my car's state inspection on the basis of a "glazed" power steering belt and a burned out tail light. (I replaced the tail light myself about 30 minutes later.) This company tried to take advantage of me and overcharge by almost a grand, presumably because I'm a woman and don't know much about cars. After calling nearby dealerships and checking their price of over $2100 to fix struts and a control arm. Once I had a better idea of what it SHOULD cost and called them to get an explanation, they revised their price and changed it to $1200. ... Read more

I took my 1998 Chevy pickup truck in for an oil change. No big deal right??? Wrong. I dropped my car off, about an hour later I returned to find that my truck will not start. At this point the manager walked out and asked if the truck has always done that? My truck may be old but it has been very well maintained. Any noise before hand I think I would have noticed. All the Truck did was whine... Read more

These people are crooks, they are the most unprofessional people I ever encountered; they are thieves, they try to rob you in whichever way they can. Good advice, do not take your car to them, they will sabotage your car and tell you to fix it and pay more; they really did it to me, few months ago, when I went for oil change (remember, I do my mechanical work myself, If I take my car to a car...
