Denver Mattress Company - Denver Mattress leaking air bed
Bought an air mattress from Denver Mattress in Lubbock TX. To be fair the bed worked for several years. When we purchased it the salesman kept telling us it had a ten year warranty. Well, the only thing that has a ten year warranty are the supports. The air pump only carries a two year warranty and the mattress itself carries a three year warranty. Make sure you read the fine print.
The bladder is leaking, which we thought was the pump not sensing that the bed was going down. Denver Mattress wanted 450 bucks for a new pump. I called the manufacturer and got it for 297. However that did not fix the problem. I tried to return the pump but the manufacturer (Rapid Air Systems) will not take the pump back period. No restocking fee, nothing.
We have decided to just purchase a regular mattress. Bottom line is be sure you read the contract and the warranty. From now on we will trade more locally so when we have a problem we're not trying to resolve things over the phone.
Monetary Loss: $500.

I purchased a king sized air bed 2009 or 2010. The bladder on one side of the bed is flat and the control for that side makes the noise like it is going to fill it, but then stops before it adds any air.
I called the store I purchased it at and was told it is most likely the bladder but my warranty expired, the math on this one does not add up because I was told it was a 10 year warranty. We are in a place due to a rare bone disorder in my hip and constant fractures. We can't afford the bladder right now to see if that is even the problem. I wish now I would not have purchased this mattress from the company had I known the 10 year warranty wasn't the whole bed like they said.
With my hip issue it can fracture by me turning over in the bed.
I am just at a loss for what to do.
I have an Ichoice air bed purchased in 2014. I have recently had an issue with one side deflating and inflating all on its own.
5 calls to store and promises of return from manager and still nothing. I call corporate and they tell me to contact the store where I purchased it. The only problem is we moved and live in a state that doesn't have a local store.
Closest one is 4 hours away. Looks like I spent $2800 on a bed that is for the dumpster.

Ok, so I bought the "king" sized air mattress in 2010, and honestly, despite a couple odd operational issues with the remote on my side, and a air bladder that leaked 13 months after buying that was "outside of the 1yr warranty" this isn't that bad of a bed, yet I nor my better half find it very comfortable, and It seemed to age rather quickly for us. We are early 30's, in SLC, Utah.
I would also like to know if there are new "pillow top" zip on pieces available, maybe even a latex top?
Update: The regional manager (Mike) contacted me from Denver Mattress. I was very impressed.
He had the store in Las Cruces, New Mexico overnight me two brand new bladders for the bed at no charge.
I am very happy to report that this fixed the problem and the bed is working great again.
