I enrolled in Ashford for a 2nd Masters degree. I was under the impression that my enrollment was based upon my gpa from my first Masters program but to my surprise they (Ashford) based it off of my undergraduate degree which is over 10 years old believe it or not I have matured since then hence the Masters degree I currently have .

While in my 4th class and 4th week of the class they decided to dismiss me from the program because I had a 2.67 instead of a 2.75, I called to speak with my rep and he told me (Justen) that there was nothing I could do but submit an appeal which takes 8 weeks for them to review, this all came into play just days before I was due a stipend.. I am so heated I want to be sure that Ashford looses their accreditation they do not take into consideration that I work full-time and have a family as well they are simply a joke... I will not be returning to this school I have a Masters from and nationally accredited sschool.

The GPA from your previous schools have nothing to do with your enrollment status. You were dismissed because you didn't have a high enough GPA after your 3 class probationary period.

I'm guessing your first class you had a C in your first class which put you on probation. Got a B in your 2nd class, which kept you on probation and got another B in your third class.

You only get 3 classes in any graduate program to meet the GPA requirement. Normally it's 3.0 not 2.75.

Spare yourself the "Online Institutional" migraine and attend a traditional college.
