Redeem my grants and loans/My diploma
In 2012 I enrolled at Argosy University to complete my Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice. I attended classes full time for 2 years.
I got on the Dean's list twice. After finishing my degree I started getting calls from the Department of Education concerning my loans being re paid. Argosy has charged me $32,000 for my 2 years of online classes. I also was approved for financial aid because I had a dependent child.
They claimed all of my study materials were being paid for with my financial aid, and I was only receiving 700.00 every 10 weeks.
When I finished my program I had asked my advisor if she could please send me my diploma in the mail. I wasn't going to be at graduation because I lived in Kentucky and my 5 year old son was also attending school. She told me that my diploma was going to cost me $240! I told her that I couldn't pay that.
Nor should I have to pay more than I already had to for a diploma I had worked very hard for, fir two solid years.
She refused to send it to me. I've never gotten to use my degree because I can't prove that I graduated with honors but have no diploma, transcripts, nothing to prove I even attended the college.
I deserve my diploma, and would love to be part of the class action suite against them for overcharging me for my classes.

Argosy finance
I have not spoken to anyone at Argosy but now I am receiving more calls about the money they claim i owe them, I am receiving bills in the mail, and now i am receiving notices from the fed loan people who gave the money to the college and they did not use the money for...
In trying to see what was in the finance documents so i can set up what ever i need to do i see my documents seem to change daily. This sort of thing happened before i was to receive a stipend in July but it was delayed until November.
I don't understand why this practice.
If you can help me I thank you. I think this is being done because i am due a portal refund, but with them playing with the numbers like this i will not return nor recommend this school to anyone else because of some that work in the finance department.
