American Debt Mediators Services Review from Hollywood, Florida

My credit was actually ruin because I trusted ADM to pay my bills. They lead me to believe that they would negotiate my bill down. Then I found out that first you have to pay everything they charge as administration fee before they would pay my bill. They told me not to file for bankruptcy. After my credit was messed up that is what I had too do. Now at least I have peace and can begin to repair my good name.

Very poor customer service, and NO communications!!

We completed this program, with very little help from their "negotiators." We were asked to do some of the follow-through that we thought we were paying them to do on our behalf, then when we received our refund from their "global solutions savings account" it was almost $600 short of what they promised it would be. The service is ridiculously expensive (more than $60/month in monthly "maintenance fees"), and they don't do ANYTHING that an average customer couldn't do on their own just calling your credit card companies and asking for a settlement. I DO NOT recommend working with this company!! Take a few minutes and call your credit card companies and ask them for a settlement. You'll do so much better for yourself.

American Debt Mediators - Credit Score Review from Greenville, North Carolina

This company screwed me big time. Never use them. They charge fees upfront but don't explain it when you enroll. I lost $3800.00 with them. If you decide to quit the program they will keep your money and your credit score will drop. I had a great credit score. I was in credit card debt but paid my bills on time. This company sends letters that make you want to call because it says final notice and they've been trying to reach you. When you call you get this really nice talking person that will convince you they can help get you out of credit card debt. What they don't explain is they take their fees out first and tell you to ignore the calls from creditors and send all letters to them and they will take care of it. Sounds good but it ruins your credit score. Long story short I paid this company $400 a month for absolutely nothing. I didn't get all my money refunded. I contacted my creditors right away and explained what happen they were not very understanding but are now working with me. Basically you can do the same thing yourself stop paying your credit cards put $400 a month in your own savings and after 12 months start making settlements. That's exactly what this company did but charged me $3800 to do it. They absolutely disguised me. Do not fall for this. And if you do convince them to refund you. You will be asked to sign a paper saying you will not trash them to any third party's like better business bureau or they will sue you.

LIARS without a Conscious! ADM American Debt Mediators Co.

LIARS without a Conscious! ADM American Debt Mediators Co.
ADM American Debt Mediators Co. is a TOTAL SCAM! They lie about a program that offers you to put money in a REFUNDABLE SAVINGS towards a payment settlement to the credit card co. Settlement to be when your savings is $2,000.- BUT... NEVER until you request to cancel that account do you find out, they LIED about it being refundable! They claim all sorts of fees and make their 12% fee of settlement, which they haven't done, comes out of savings! SO... you are NOT saving ANY money each month w/your deposits thus never getting to the $2,ooo to even start to settle w/banks. After 5-6 months we were close to the $2,000 to start the negotiation with the card co. We had about $1,920 saved in the refundable account with ADM. It was then we discovered the SCAM.. only about $80.- of the $384.- we were depositing monthly they counted as savings - the bulk THEY decided to CALL FEES AND INTEREST on something they HAD NOT DONE YET! Now, for four months now we have been fighting to get our full balance of our savings back from these scam artists, they disgust me! I am DETERMINTED to win this battle, evil will not triumph here. I will be creating a FACEBOOK PAGE in honor of all those pained by ADM. Feel free to join. Keep checking.. possibly to be called NOTHAVINIT NOTHAVINIT

Smooth talk and an official final activation notice was given.

Then a woman called me at work with the same identity of this company and I gave her what I felt was too much information about my self and my credit cards and a chill suddenly went up my spine. Before I went any further I said "I'm on the road and I don't have access to any of my other credit cards can you call me back? She said" Yes." I called up Capitol one and asked them about this program and they said "The only ones who can adjust your interest rates is us!" Then I had them send me a new card and closed out the original account. When the lady called me back I told her what I did and she was surprised and I could tell angry. She wanted to know why I did this and I told her. "Because I don't trust your company and I didn't contact you,you contacted me, "don't call me back!" I hung up on her and went back to work but I could still hear my cell phone ringing. I still have good credit and I, repeat I contacted a lagit group called Lending Club in which I will receive 17200.00 in my checking account to pay off my credit cards. The loan is set at 16.7 % fixed and it ends in 60 months or five years and it doesn't go on and on forever. My payments will be reduced to 560 per month instead of about 760 which saves me some doe as well. Check it out against any scam alerts for yourself but I came up with nothing so far. When I think about how much I given these credit card people over the past fifteen years I get angry at myself and realize I could have bought a small house with that! Live and learn. Good luck to you all. Bob.

All Sweet talking and 6 months later after becoming a member still 0 ZERO progress...

Is there anyone or anyone knows someone that got in contact with American Debt Mediators gotten a good experience with the company? I became a member because the lady that got my call was so nice and sweet and she really talked me into joining. Even tho I told her I want to think about it. She called me back right after the weekend and she really did her best to get me in and she succeeded. Its been 6 months and nothing is happening except that every month they automatically withdraw $ 409.00 out of my bank account. After the 1st month I called and was wanting to talk to the lady that convinced me to join, I was told that she is no longer work with them. I am really getting worried that I am getting my self into more financial problem instead of getting free of debts. I don't really find any good review about the company. Any suggestion what I should do best from here? Thank you so much...

Get out before you spend more money.same thing happened to me, a very sweet lady help me first when I try to contact her again they told me she does not work there any longer. I was with them one year and no results.I send over $7,000 when I canceled and ask or my refund I got $600. Get out as soon as you can

We have been with them not for a year and they just started paying off our credit cards. It's take about a year for money to go into your acct to pay the debt off.

Only because only a certain amount of your monthly payments go into your bank acct for the debt to be paid off. We just had 1000 in there and they paid off 2 of our credit cards after paying them for a year already.

Yes it takes time but it will eventually pay off. :)

I went through American Debt Mediators and was able to resolve my debts through them. I had about $35000 in credit card debts and the took the time to show me how long I would be paying it back paying over $900 a month just in minimums.

CNN debt calculator on the CNN website showed me it was going to take me over 25yrs to pay back the debt with all the interest on top of it as well! The amount of interest that would of been paid was a third of my debt $9000 dollars on top of my $35k. You will have calls and receive letters for the first 3-6 months just make sure every letter gets to them as soon as you get them, I got a great offers on 2 out of 3 accounts in the 7th and 8th months that I was able to take advantage of. What people don't realize is like me paying 900 a month I was making it work not getting anywhere or change.

They put me on a payment of about 500 a month which let me have 400 extra in my pocket! Of course I was serious about getting out of the debt as fast as possible so like they said the program goes faster the more you save and that's what I did. I put about 150 extra in my global account each month so paid 650 a month for 13 months. The extra 250 I put in my own savings incase they got a super low offer on my last account I could put a down payment on and pay the remainder in a term.

They do an awesome. You just need to realize that it takes time and if you are serious aboutt getting out of debt listen to them and call about offers stay active. ALSO SAVE the savings they get you monthly. It also teaches you to live like you were everyday but now saving instead of wasting.

Hope that help!

And good luck! :)

Claims I owe a debt of $20000 and will mediate to reduce payment

Got letters which I have been ignoring until I saw a most recent one and it got me ticked off so I called the number and gave them the reference number. Told the operator that I do not want to see any more their *** sent to me. I am aware of own my own debt free situation and high credit score. So the questions can this false claim from ADM in that they are insinuating that I owe them money should make them liable for damaging my personal reputation. Can a group action be taken to go after this particular company. If so do respond so we can take a class action suite against this company. I am quite sure a lot of others are also taken for a ride here.

When I called and spoke with them they said that the dollar amount of your estimated debt was taken by the demography of your area. They do not actually know what amount that you might owe or don't owe any of your creditors.

Same Letter As Everyone Else

I have a goodly amount of revolving credit, but pay off my cards regularly. Like so many others, I've received a letter from ADM claiming my "est. creditor balances" to be $15,000, my "projected settlement offers" at $8,550, and my "est. program payment" to be $335/month. Considering the inaccuracy of my balance, the other numbers can't be true. Even if this were a legitimate offer, the math stinks. They charge $50/month + 12%, so if the settlement is $8,550, their vig comes out to $1,026 bringing your owed amount to $9,576. If you're paying $335/month, you're paying only $285 toward that debt. At that rate, you'd have it paid in 34 months and pay ADM an additional $1,700. At the end of the day, you'd pay ADM $2,726 to do exactly what you could do on your own (and run the risk of being sued). The "$8,550" would actually be closer to $11,276 (a savings of $3,724 if no additional fees or compound interest apply). The moral of the story: If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't true.

I Joined them almost a Year ago, And I would say that it does work only if you have all the $ for them to settle on the spot. I enrolled 6 accounts and 2 of them were settled by them (good deal btw) but i have 3 accounts that are over 6gs each, and they dont work unless you have enough saving.

So far they have made about 1500 of me, so as of tomorrow, I will cancel their service and do it on my own. 10/15/2014

Leave me the *** alone!!!

This company continually mails letters to me that are pink and appear to be overdue bills. I do not want their services and have asked that they stop, but they don't. I KNOW that they are a scam and would just like to be taken off of their lists. I spoke to a customer service rep today and was told there was 'no manager avaialble to talk with'... They must survive on *** people who believe their bs. I am NOT one of them and I want them to LEAVE ME ALONE!!! I don't understand why 100 words are needed. Although usually verbose, obviously I don't need 100 words to tell my story.

Fakes

I received a flyer and application in the mail. When I called for information she explained how they help people get out of debt. They asked me how many credit cards I have and the answer was one. Im on time with my bills but the credit card due to the interest charges seems to never get any lower. She said they can cut my total balance by half. I immediately was surprised. But there was one thing she asked me to do before the company can help me and thats stop paying the credit card. She said they would create a savings account with their company and I would deposit a monthly minimum of $385.00. This sounded great so I signed up. Its only been a week when I received a call from my bank explaining how everyday I'm missing large quantities of money. I immediately went to the bank and saw a list of charges. It specified "North West TX." I told my banker I haven't ever visited Texas. One charge got me, I never go to McDonolds. Love the food there and its so addictive especially the fries but since I stared to workout, theres no more McDonolds for me. I saw a charge for $32. Thats a lot of food. Anyway my banker fought the charges and changed my account number to a new account. One problem though. My social security is still out there. Call you social security and place a lock on your card. Never trust a company who places an offer thats too good to be true. They scammed me and lots of other people. Don't be a victim to these fakes.

Kept getting threatening mail

I kept receiving threatening mail when I never called them. Well after about the 6th time I received this garbage, I called. I asked how they got my name. He said from the creditors that it is public knowledge. That is a lie! I don't have debt so how could that be? I told him to put me on a do not call or mail list. I also told him I would publish this on the web. He was very rude! I hate this kind of stuff. I have used debt consolidators before that were legitimate. These guys are scams.

I understand you may not have debt but, a company service quality and customer satisfaction has nothing to do with a letter that you received that may have been old information that the company bought from a marketing company. Debt is public and you can purchase anything that is reported on our credit.

Experian, Transunion and Equifax sell our info for marketing purposes on a daily basis. I happy that you do not have the burden of credit card debts that you can't pay but, "many others" have this problem and are able to change their financial futures when they get a letter like the one you got. Remember, for every person that has 0 debts their are 10 who owe a lot of people.

What a ignorant comment from a person who is smart enough to not owe anyone money. Wow

SCAM FISHING FOR BUSINESS

Company is sending out letter of "Activation of Second Notice" Your Renegotiated Credit Card Balance Activation". This is a MAJOR scam to *** unsuspecting people that could fall prey to such a scheme to take their money. DO NOT FALL for any of this manure specially since they call Texas their home. This is "VERY SHAMEFUL" and those great Americans in the State of Texas should put an end to such a SCAM! American Debt Mediators are just a bunch of pansy's that don't know what a decent days work is all about. American Scam Mediators is more like it!!!
