I have to say , the tech was on time but spend 2 plus hours walking around ,taking measurements and telling me how better they were than anybody else. He was definitely trying to sell me a service .
He left and sat in his van for 40 minutes ,just to tell me he couldn't give me a quote until after I had gotten other bids. He proceeded to peddle me with different products they do . He was also upset my wife because she couldn'be there and wanted to reschedule .I pressed again for a bid and told me his was gonna be the highest. Right before he left , he pressed for a 2nd meeting ,including my wife.
Being polite I said sure. I will be calling to cancel that..

AJPerri installed a new heating system in August 2023. In December, I noticed the furnace making unusual noises.
Called Perri and scheduled and appt for a Tuesday, 12:00-4:00. I shortened my work day to be there. At 4:15, I called Perri and asked where the technician was?They said the would find out and let me know. About 20 min later, technician arrived.
He could not diagnose the problem but since heat was working, he said to call if any issues. Wednesday morning, we wake up to find house is 62 degrees. Call Perri at 8:30 AM, schedule appt for 4:00-8:00. Temp in house drops to 54 degrees.
At 8:30 that night , I call asking where repair man was. Was told no one would show and I z would have to call the next day which would be Thursday. No manager or supervisor on call. No call telling me no one was coming.
Wasted my day waiting. Woman in the office stated she would send an Urgent Email so supervisor on morning would see it and call me before 9:00 AM Thursday. At 9:15AM , I had to call. The office person, Mary, was less than helpful and could care less if I had to take another half day off work to get service because of there screwups.
I was upset and frustrated but did apologize to her for yelling. Long story short, she hung up on me before completing my repair visit. I called back immediately and spoke to a man who said Mary was not available. He was polite and scheduled repair visit with my wife altering her schedule.
For 3days, nothing but rudeness, incompetence, and lies. To this day, Jan 5, no supervisor, manager, or owner has called to apologize for wasting 3 days of my time and living with no heat. I cancelled their AJPerri Premiere Customer Package as they proved that was a waste of money. If I did not have an extended warranty on my new heating system, I would leave AJPerri..
I would not recommend them to anyone.
The service people were nice and professional. The office staff and ownership is completely unprofessional, rude, and liars.

Brand New HVAC Problems Ignored.
I highly recommend going with any other company. Stay away from AJ Perri.
In September, just two months ago, I had my HVAC unit replaced by AJ Perri. A week later I had water leaking from the unit. A technician was sent out and he replaced a faulty part. No problem, I understand things happen.
However, this past week I needed to turn the heat on for the first time and this company showed their true colors. I reported the issue with the heat not working on a Wednesday night. They sent a technician around 8 pm on Thursday night. This was okay because I had asked for a later response time; I could not take off work a third time for this system.
The technician restarted the unit. He turned it off for thirty seconds and then turned it back on which enabled the burner to work. The unit worked until Friday afternoon when I went to turn up the heat and nothing happened. I called and was told someone would be out on Saturday between 9 and 1.
I was not happy with this since I have little children but I accepted. On Saturday I called at 2pm to ensure someone was coming. I was told that my technician would be late as they needed to have a warranty supervisor available on the phone to troubleshoot the problem. The technician arrived at 5 and began to work.
Not once was he on the phone with a supervisor. He fixed the problem by disconnecting an air intake pipe. He ensured my house was safe and that the supervisor would be out on Monday morning. I questioned him and he claimed that in his notes I threatened to sue, so that would get a response.
Well it is now Friday night and I am not threatening. I have reached out to a lawyer. I have called every day since Monday, multiple times a day, and have been given the runaround. I have been told about ten times that my issue has been labeled top priority and sent to the quality control department.
I have not heard back from anyone and have stray pipes hanging from my rafters. I truly did not know a company could do business like this. Stay away.
Check out Edison heating and cooling. Thats who I will be reaching out to once this all is straightened out.

Verified Reviewer |Botched installation, Failed inspection, AC unit failed at first heat wave, fixed. then failed again in 3 hours
AC unit with new coil installed January 2024. Failed inspection by the town twice, plumbing and mechanical.
AC unit failed during heat wave 4th of July, repaired two days later, electrical problem condensation pump problem.
Failed again 3 hours later, fan runs but blows warm air. Likely refrigerant leak. Can't come for 4 days due to understaffing and weekend. No 24 hour service available as advertized.
Reported repaired system failure on Friday, 3:00 will come Tuesday.
New water leak where new coil was installed. No cold air.
No service.
I will report to Better Business Bureau in NJ. The company has past history of violations with Attorney General in NJ and was fined.

Terrible service
I scheduled a furnace tuneup two weeks ago from 1pm - 4pm that appointment was canceled by the company during the service time scheduled the day of my scheduled appointment. I rescheduled for this past Monday from 8am- 12pm I received a call on Sunday stating they over booked could I reschedule for today Tuesday from 8am - 12pm.
I called at 11:45 due to no contact and spoke with dispatch was told technician was 20 minutes away.
Got a call back from dispatch stating the technician would be not coming for at lease another hour. After waiting all morning for technician I was never contacted they were running late until I called this is unacceptable service so this appointment was again canceled.

Price gouging is one thing, but taking advantage of a disable senior on a fixed budget is highway robbery.
First assessor (Angelo) was RUDE and YELLED at me for no reason, saying the current heating unit (only 6yrs old!) was not salvageable (it had a few leaking pipes that any other contractor would repair). He expedited a salesman visit ASAP as a "favor".
That guy (Matt DiBallsio) price gouged me with a $18,665 bill! - more than twice what others would've charged, but I was desperate with no heat/hot water during Easter weekend (had to cancel my family trip) and a damage ceiling below.
Job took 3+ days but only after ONE MONTH, no heat again (technician installed a "wrong part"). Also the sales rep reneged on his verbal "perk" to give me 2yrs instead of 1 free maintenance. He ignores my emails, texts and voice message to revise the contract.
That said, I will have someone else do any annual "tune ups", as I as sure they will find some wrong to charge what is "not covered" under their warranty.
Lastly, I reached out to several complaint boards - BBB, Attorney General, NJ Plumber Masters - to no avail. Also, radio silence when directly contacting the company owner/CEO...shame on them.

Consumer beware
AJ Perri tech completed routine heating tune up/ check up on my unit. That tech advised me that I need a new furnace, and scheduled me with a project manager that same evening.
That project manager advised me that the new furnace and installation will be 10k. When I advised him that I scheduled an appointment with another hvac for a second opinion, he got rude. On Saturday, 12/2, I had a different hvac person stop by, he also serviced my unit, and it was working just fine, as per AJ Perri my unit was overheating and was going over the amps, which was not so. I was informed that I didn't need a new furnace, that everything was working just fine, and nothing needed to be replaced.
I ended up paying $150 for that service, which was unnecessary.
If the AJ Perri tech wouldn't try to take advantage of me. This company is a disgrace.

I just had a check up for $8.88, which was a Black Friday special offer at Home Depot. The guy came in the 9th of December and said that the capacitor battery needed replacing (which, as I understand it, kickstarts the electric heater).
He offered it at $314, I told I would think it over. When he went to the van to write up his report, I checked Amazon and they are less than $10!!! Not only that, two days after this tune up, my heater doesn’t turn on! Did he somehow sabotage the battery?
I am not sure. But I am not going back to them!
