I have called at least 10+ time to take care of claims that have been filed and each time, I have to wait another 5 to7 business days more after I have waited 14 to 30 days to get my reimbursement back on prescriptions. Every time, you are a ripe off, you cannot speak to anyone in claims, and customer service is spread from the east coast to the west coast and not everyone can call when the east... Read more

Logging complaint is a mess and is designed to stonewall - Work hours are short - they close by 06:00 PM EST. - If you call you will not be able to talk to anyone the machine takes you around. - If you log in complaints - you will not have any reference to it left in your system. I have been with Aetna for over ten years. I went to pick up a prescription on December 8th and CVS Pharmacy told me that my policy came back declined. I called Aetna on Monday and they said they terminated my policy for paying Novembers payment late. I had made every attempt to get claim issue resolved and called atleast 7 times to Aetna memeber services to resolve this issue and every time Aetna acknowledges that i am not responsible for double copays and i was promised everytime that aetna will make the payment shortly and nothing happens, on Nov 22 i was promised affirmatively that someone from aetna will provide a status update to me over... Aetna Health Insurance dictates to their customers/patients that their own specialty pharmacy must be used for certain (expensive) drugs and then they clearly make it more and more difficult to refill prescriptions and get access for existing customers/patients when they may not be making as much money off of them. My clinician Cary A. Scope would not return my calls or answer my requests so Aetna could send in the Aetna approved behavioral Statement so my doctor could fill out, end result I was denied.
