On Saturday, March 15, 2024, I took my car to ABC Warehouse on Monroe St. to have a car stereo unit installed.

The guy that sold me the stereo told me it would take 1-2 hours before the unit would be installed. This was at 10:00am; therefore, the car should've been ready by 12:00pm, however, I did not return until 1:00pm., and they just was driving my car inside to get the unit installed!

I saw the installer get the stereo from their sample unit/display on the wall, which was not new! He told me, they only use those units to install because they are still new, but since that was a sample unit, it is not considered new because it was out of the box; therefore, he should've gave me a discount on the stereo, but he did not want to give me a discount, so I told them I did not want it.

I got my refund, and on the way out, I told them, I wanted to talk to the GM, but they said, he went to the bank. Therefore, I left and came back to talk to the GM, and I told him my problems I was having with his seller.

He told me, he would give me a better unit, which was new, and he also gave me a discount.

I told him I was not safe with his installer, because he may sabotage my car, especially when he tried to install a display stereo, but he assured me, that he would do a good job. But, after he checked out my speakers, the GM said, my two front speakers were not working, but I knew they were working because I just played a cd before they took my car back to get the new stereo installed.

I know the installer, and the GM sabotaged my speakers to make-up for the discount he gave me on the new stereo unit! While, I was waiting ALL of their sales guys started coughing at me, and I told them, if they needed some cough medicine, then they should take it because I did not want their germs! The GM got upset with me because I told them how I felt about them PURPOSEFULLY coughing at me.

I told them I did not want their germs, and it is a felony to PURPOSEFULLY cough at someone because I did not know, if they may have had covid or some other disease, that spreads through spittle.

I just had covid & the flu, and I did not want their germs spreading on me!!!

He lied to me and claimed his worker was sick, and I told him, if he was sick HE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN at work spreading his germs. When I entered the building he was talking to some people, that DID NOT LOOK LIKE ME but he NEVER coughed at them!

RACISM!!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT because I was treated unfairly not only by the GM, but also his workers, that continuously coughed at me! I would've gave them five 0's, if I could've gave them that selection.

Now, I see why they got low scores from customers because this place is a JOKE!!!

This company has been changing its "stripes" for several years now. First, let me say this: I have purchased every appliance that I have ever owned from ABC, dating back many decades.

I always paid for their extended warranty/ repair services - and kept those policies active, knowing that I was simply "paying in advance" for the next replacement. The downward "slide" in their reliability and trustworthiness began, when I last had to use my plan - close to ten years ago. The repairman stated that my machine could be repaired, but ABC refused to allow that. I had to accept a replacement.

The store manager downgraded the features/ quality of the replacement appliance that I was offered. If I wanted the same features/ quality in the replacement; I would have to pay out-of-pocket to receive a comparable machine. And of course, I had to purchase a new extended warranty - even though I had multi-years of coverage left on the old current plan. Later, I learned that being charged a "gap cost" on a replacement appliance, violated company policy - but the company did nothing about this violation.

No refund was ever offered or provided. I then began to renew my extended warranty policies 1 YEAR AT A TIME, instead of multi-years at a time. A couple of months ago, ABC contacted me and offered me a multi-year renewal policy on my currently insured, older washer. I told them that I would renew it for one year, when the current policy was due to expire.

Now today, they called on the premise of discussing a multi-year renewal for my refrigerator AND DURING THAT CALL, they informed me that they would not renew the policy on my washer, due to its age. I was told that this is a new company policy. Really?? And the company did not know about this, during their previous recent call?

What's more, they just renewed (for 3 years) a policy for my neighbor... and her washer/ dryer is two years older than mine. The truth of it is that by continuing to renew this washer policy over many years; I have more than paid for my "next" washer if/ when this one breaks down and cannot be repaired. I hate to say this, but I have bought my LAST appliance/ extended warranty from ABC.

Likewise, I am currently searching for an alternative to the current ABC insurance on my newer refrigerator... and will do the same for my washer... if a policy is available. From here on in...

I will buy my appliances elsewhere... and I will insure them through a separate warranty company. Too bad.

Too sad. This company has really becoming shady, dishonest and just plain cheap!

Preferred solution: I would like them to honor the continuation of the extended warranty (on my washer) that they sold to me. I have paid around $100+ per year for around 10 years... and now, they are discontinuing my policy

Absolutely ridiculous treatment from the store's General Manager regarding a delivery issue.

Let me start by saying that I have never had an issue with ABC Warehouse until now. I even argued with my husband that this was where we should go to buy our dishwasher and dryer!

The sales person, John, was fantastic and we did make a purchase totaling close to $2000.

These items were scheduled for delivery today though we were not given an exact time, just told that we would receive either a phone call or text about 45 minutes or more before the driver would arrive. I had a doctor's appointment scheduled and my husband had to work, but both of us were in Manton and well under 10 minutes away from the house. During my appointment (which I had been waiting to get into for weeks for a very serious stomach condition that may need surgery), I received a text from the driver that he would be to my house in 45 minutes to and hour. Perfect!

My appointment would definitely be done by then and I would be home, all within 45 minutes time. However less than a full minute after I received the text, the driver called and said he would be there in 15-20 minutes due to a delivery being canceled. I told him I was at the doctor and that I wouldn't be too long, but if I wasn't there by then would he be willing to wait 5-10 minutes (remember, his last delivery was canceled so there was definitely extra time for him to wait if needed). He scoffed, told me no he wouldn't wait at all and if I was not there I would not get my items.

I asked him sarcastically, "So, you are telling me I need to just.. leave my doctor's appointment so you can drop these off and you are not willing to give me even 5 minutes?" He told me that if I wanted my items, I needed to be there or I was not going to get them today at all. I said "Ok.. well I guess I will make it work and be there to get them because I really need those delivered today."

I left my appointment early, unable to give my doctor full information (it is a new doctor and I am finally able to get my health concerns looked at because I was just approved for Medicare--I am disabled and had to wait until I had been on disability 2 years before I could qualify and did not have Medicaid or any other insurance until just recently, so this appointment was extremely important).

I waited and the driver never arrived, so I sent a text back to the number he originally messaged and called me from asking if he was still bringing them today. He called and told me that he decided to reschedule the delivery--he did not call me or give me any kind of warning on this, and I am now left with another 2 week wait to see me doctor AND no appliances! He became incredibly nasty when I told him I had been waiting and that I left early, telling me that it was not his problem. I asked for his name, he said "Why do you need that?" I told him so that I could call and put in a complaint.

He refused, then hung up on me.

I decided to call the store since now I had no idea when I would even get my appliances AND because I wanted this driver's boss to know what was going on. The general manager told me that he personally knew the driver, interrupted me when I was trying to explain the situation (3 times I could not finish telling him what happened because he wanted to tell me that the driver was not a bad guy, etc.) He did not seem to hear a word that I said because he accused me of lying about information or changing my story--but I had him on SPEAKER PHONE with my roommate RIGHT NEXT TO ME and she heard the ENTIRE exchange. He also had the audacity to tell me, "Well you got to see your doctor so clearly that wasn't even really a big deal"--keep in mind that I had told him this appointment was cut extremely short and that I never was able to even talk to the doctor about what the visit was scheduled for, only getting medications refilled which could have been done easily in a phone call!

I told him he needed to stop talking and listen since he clearly didn't understand anything I had told him. "OK I will listen to your little story for the 4th time", was his response and I got only two words out before another sarcastic and snarky comment came out from him; "Well clearly the driver was just trying to do you a favor by bringing those early so you are just being difficult and ungrateful".

I was livid, so I told him I wanted his name and boss' contact information. He said "I AM the general manager so I will be the only one handling this", refusing to tell me his name as well, so I told him to give me the regional manager's number because I did not want to deal with him. He said "I don't give out her personal information", so I stated once again but much more clearly and in a much more angry tone that I wanted her CONTACT INFORMATION, not her cell phone (by the way, I never even IMPLIED that I wanted her PERSONAL information, but I believe he just did not want her to know about how he handles customer complaints), that he needed to give me the information that a customer would use in order to make a complaint against him. He spouted out the supposed corporate number so ridiculously fast that I couldn't even write it down, so I had him repeat it again and he did the same thing.

I had to TALK OVER HIM and repeat the numbers SEVERAL TIMES before I was actually able to get the information clearly. He said "I'll be one sec to get the extension. Oh, but maybe more like 30 seconds or a minute. I don't want you to blow up on me if it is not the EXACT amount of time, so maybe I should just tell you it will be two minutes so I don't have you freak out when I get back with that."

I lost my cool, told him he needed to stop talking to me and go get the extension.

I hung up IMMEDIATELY after he told me the number because I didn't want to say something really mean and by now I was SHAKING with anger over this whole nightmarish ordeal. The number and extension he gave me, by the way, were INCORRECT and I had to figure out how to contact the regional manager on my own.

The regional manager (Jen) DID call me back and was able to help me out by offering to take the old appliances away at no additional charge, but I will never step foot in an ABC Warehouse again! Now, my husband is strongly considering canceling the order completely because of this situation. We spent nearly $2k on just this purchase and paid with a DEBIT card IN FULL at the time of purchase!

No credit, no financing, no payments, etc.

And on top of this, I had to work VERY hard just to convince my husband to WANT to buy from ABC because every other time I had been in and purchased from them, the experience was great!

I am extremely grateful for the follow up from Jen, but I want to know that something is done about this manager's attitude and I want this complaint to be made known EVERYWHERE possible that the Cadillac, MI general manager is rude, unprofessional, and incredibly inconsiderate! If this is his definition of "customer service", then he should NOT be in a retail environment at all--and DEFINITELY should not be in a management position!!

I will never step in a ABC WAREHOUSE AGAIN! Salesman Mohamad *Moe* Fardous is extremely rude, pompous and racist!

I seen how ABC warehouse in Southgate treated a black man who just wanted a refund because delivery drivers didn't call to tell him they were delivering his appliances. He called the salesman Mohamad Fardous to ask him why they didn't call and Moe fardous told him do not call again and to not step back into his store. He also threatened him with calling the police. SALEAMAN MOHAMAD FARDOUS HAS A HABIT OF TREATING BLACK CUSTOMERS AND WOMEN VERY BADLY.

I SEEN JON THE MANAGER COMPLETELY IGNORE AND DISMISS HOW THE SALEMANS MOE BEHAVES. So I took a look on social media and reviews and this is typical behavior of Mohamad fardous. Also, the salesman Mohamad Fardous smells of alcohol. Abc warehouse, why do you allow customers to be treated terribly by your salesman?

Many negative reviews on abc warehouse about Salesman Mohamad Fardous immediately get deleted. Abc warehouse pull up your salesmans name on FB and Google and type his name and abc warehouse.

Complaints go back 12 years. People should contact HR Headquarters and email or call Pamela hambley.

My SALESMAN WAYNE BELL IS GREAT IF THE SOUTHGATE MI LOCATION I BOUGHT A 85in Samsung TV and they delivered it I opened it up 2 days later for wall mount service , out the I seen the side panel of the TV flopping. The night before I put the box outside ..

I called the store the next morning for exchange. They said I couldnt exchange the item because the box was not in perfect condition this is nowhere in the return policy & is not in there website.. after coming on this website and they reached to the store as well me go thru upper chains of corporate.

After jumping thru red tape I finally got an exchange. THANK YOU PISSED CONSUMER FOR YOUR HELP

They use their online store to sell defective merchandise and keep peoples money

NEVER use this company I have sent a demand letter and am in preparation to sue to receive my money back. They seem to send defective merchandise if you purchase from the online store and then direct you to this unaccountable department with no direction or any specific names or points of contact so that you do not get to speak with a human.

IF you get to a human they send you to the online number that you called, it is not subtle how they are scamming people and offloading defective merchandise with the online store. I have security footage of my delivery and I made a new purchase on a washer that has a giant concave dent that runs from the top to the bottom of the washer.

I tried to get my money back and so far no luck so I imagine the court will have a better time getting ahold of one of these online representatives that have managed to elude me so well. The number that I called was 1-80*-***-****

Refund on my washer

Ive had my washer for 9 months and only used it once and sent a repair person 6 or 7 time's were he fixed every part and still didn't work until they said it was unrepairable and I'm trying to get a refund and all they want to do is say store credit I don't want store credit cause I don't want nothing from that store I just want my money back and go somewhere else

Refrigerator not what I requested

Ordered Frigidaire refrigerator in January, 2022 with the promise of it being made in North Carolina, USA and delivery within two weeks. Two requests - 1) made in USA; 2) ice/water filter.

Refrigerator kept being delayed and all I was told from salesperson is its being made - theres a back order on them. I asked again where it was being made - North Carolina USA I was told. I said are you sure its not being shipped across the sea - oh no - its coming from North Carolina I was told. Low and behold, refrigerator wasnt delivered until almost three months later; no water filter, only ice in the bottom drawer of the freezer; and Made in Thailand!!!

Im literally disgusted with the lack of integrity and deceit just to make a sale.

I would go to absolutely ANY other appliance store to avoid ever giving my hard earned money to this establishment again. Very very disappointing experience.

Missing part on my stove I have been waiting 1 1/2 months for the part

Missing rubber stopper on stove called them he said it only came with one. Went to Lowes it is to help two he lied to me.he said he would order one. Two weeks later I called he forgot to order it. I still have not got it yet. It has been a month and a half now. when I pay over $900.00 for something it have all the parts. This is the worst service I have ever had.

This is the second time we got pushed backed on are delivery first time we was told 4 weeks we waited8 weeks still no delivery so I finally cansed my order this time was told we would get are delivery on February15 and they just called me and said it will be Saturday the delivery truck is full this place is a joke I see why everyone goes to Lowe's and Menards this will be my last time buying anything from them

At dearborn location a sales man name JD disrespected me in the store when i went back to the store i want to change a fridge that i purchased couple of days ago .with other appliances. I paid over $5000 at THAT STORE. & i got disrespected by their salesman. He told me i don't listen & he pointed with his finger to me to leave the store. I'm expecting to take this complains very seriously & i need a call from you or im going to return everything i purchased from ABC .
