My first bill had a processing fee that is not in my contract. When I called about it they said ok you don't have to pay it. The next bill and every bill since this charge shows up along with a late fee and finance charge for this processing fee. I tried canceling train being I don't use the system and I was also offered a cheaper rate with a different company. I chose to just cancel Monitronics but they refuse to cancel, I still have to pay the monthly due even though my service would be technically canceled. I don't get how that's legal. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My family relocated out of the area and the company is mandating that we pay for the ADDITIONAL 31 months of the contract. Due to the poor customer reviews, the new homeowner declined using CPI. Now we have to foot the bill. BEWARE! They are more concerned about getting your money and locking in a contract as opposed to actually providing decent service. I expect this... Read more

After scheduling an installation when i purchased all the equipment I hear nothing and no one shows! When I contacted my agent he says he will check and call back in a few minutes and NEVER calls! I finally get an automated call at 8:30 on night of installation asking me to SCHEDULE an installation! Really? I am suppose to check the security of my home to these guys? complete lack of... I opened my SentrySafe , and left the Lid opened while doing some errands. Came back and the Lid had fallen backwards onto the floor. It was completely detached from the safe. I noticed it had been made of cheap plastic hinges that literally caved in because of the weight of the door (which isn't really heavy compared to the other part). I have a 3 yr contract with these bozo's In may someone set an apt with me to "update" the system to accommodate 3G wireless service.
